On June 7 and 8, ECoMAR participated in the official opening event of the whale season in Arraial do Cabo, on the coast of Rio de Janeiro.

During the event, we had the opportunity to present to the public the work that our laboratory carries out in the region — including research on cetaceans, marine conservation, and the importance of continuous monitoring of coastal biodiversity.
