On June 20, the ECoMAR team attended the Book Biennial with the launch of a new book on environmental education: “Environmental Education in School Education: Challenges, Dialogues, and Socio-Environmental Studies on Sepetiba Bay," the result of a partnership with @faperjoficial and the Sepetiba Bay Socio-Environmental Observatory @os_sepetiba, published by @letracapital.
The chapter “Ocean culture from a critical environmental education perspective: Recreational activities for addressing conservation and the socio-environmental impacts of Sepetiba Bay,” written by our students, describes the environmental education work carried out in public schools in the region covered by the project.
