Larissa Melo

I have a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and am a master's student in the UFRJ Ecology Graduate Program. I work on conservation projects in the field of bioacoustics to evaluate the effectiveness of Marine Protected Areas as acoustic refuges for the gray dolphin.

Anna Karoline Muniz

Biologist from UERJ, with a postgraduate degree in Nature Sciences from UFPI and a master's degree in Neotropical Biodiversity from UNIRIO, I monitor gray dolphins with an emphasis on parental care behavior on the Costa Verde.

Gustavo Vancellote
Graduated in Ecology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He is currently a master's student of Dr. Rodrigo Hipólito Tardin in the Postgraduate Program in Ecology (PPGE-UFRJ). In the laboratory, he works on studies of the trophic niche of cetaceans off the coast of Brazil.

Rodrigo Pedrosa

I'm a master's student in the Postgraduate Program in Ecology at UFRJ and a member of the Marine Ecology and Conservation Laboratory (ECoMAR/UFRJ). I work with cetacean monitoring in Sepetiba Bay, Ilha Grande and the Lakes Region, as well as research into the behavior of harbour porpoises in Pará. I also work in environmental education and social and environmental awareness.

Distinto Kinguari

Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). Postgraduate (Lacto sensu) in Marine Biology and Oceanography from the Maria Thereza Integrated College (FAMATH).

Ana Beatriz Morais Silva

Undergraduate student in Biological Sciences at UERJ. I work at ECoMAR on an environmental education project in Sepetiba Bay, discussing the socio-environmental issues present in the area. I am also part of the laboratory's Extension Center.

Danilo Dias Simas

I'm studying for a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis on Ecology at UFRJ. I am currently part of the Ecology and Marine Conservation Laboratory - ECoMAR, working on the impacts of climate change on cetaceans, in relation to the functional diversity and ecological functions of these organisms.

Fabricio Trevas

Undergraduate student in Biological Sciences at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO) and Intern at the Ecology and Marine Conservation Laboratory (ECoMAR) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).

Anna Beatriz Magalhães

I'm an undergraduate student in Biological Sciences at the Celso Lisboa University Center and an intern at ECoMAR-UFRJ, where I'm doing my final-year research. I collaborate on marine conservation projects in the area of bioacoustics with a focus on assessing the impacts of anthropogenic activities on the intraspecific communication of the gray dolphin.

Sophia Di Gerardi

Undergraduate student in Biological Sciences at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). She is currently a scholarship student at the Marine Ecology and Conservation Laboratory (ECoMAR), working on the study of the spatial distribution of Megaptera novaeangliae na Região de Arraial do Cabo.

Izabela Queiroz

Hi, I'm Iza. I'm a biologist and I contribute to various projects at the laboratory. My main tasks are acoustic analysis and cetacean monitoring.

Liliane Lodi

She holds a Master's degree in Environmental and Forestry Sciences from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro and a PhD in Marine Biology from the Federal Fluminense University.

Bárbara Piovani

I have a bachelor's degree in geography from (UFF) and a master's degree in Marine Biology and Coastal Environments from (UFF). I am a drone instructor with extensive experience using drones to monitor cetaceans and sea turtles.

Gabriel Melo

Biologist, PhD in Behavior Theory and Research (Ecoethology) from the Federal University of Pará and Master in Zoology (Conservation and Ecology) from the Federal University of Pará and the Emílio Goeldi Museum of Pará.

Israel de Sá Maciel

PhD and Master's in Animal Biology from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
